Foundry on Earth

The area dedicated to the manufacture of clay and/or self-hardening sand-molded parts is equipped with two gas-fired kilns, one with a capacity of 250 kg and the other with 300 kg. Both have automatic burners and continuous temperature control via digital pyrometers. In addition, we have a degassing system using extra-dry nitrogen, which minimizes porosity in the final product, thus ensuring higher quality parts.

The molding is done in traditional wooden and/or aluminum boxes that can be quickly disassembled, with dimensions ranging from 300 mm x 300 mm to 1.20 m x 2.30 m, as well as in boxes of special shapes, achieving pieces of up to 250 kg.

For high production series, the sector has an automatic pneumatic double molding machine, suitable for boxes up to 600 mm x 600 mm.
